Meet Junior

Junior Torres has been ranked the #1 real estate agent in the city of Seattle, based on total sales volume and number of transactions since 2022, according to the Northwest Multiple Listing Service. Consistently recognized as one of Windermere’s top agents nationwide, Junior is among the top 1% of real estate agents in Washington state and has facilitated more than $1.5 billion in real estate sales. In 2024, he was ranked the #1 Latino broker in the United States by sales volume by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, NAHREP.

Junior is known for delivering exceptional service with a clear focus on results. He is committed to helping clients achieve the strongest possible outcome in the shortest amount of time, always with the understanding that their interests come first. He believes that character, judgment, and reputation are the foundation of lasting success in real estate.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Junior moved to New York City at age 12 and spent his formative years there. He studied marketing as an undergraduate and later earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, where he focused on real estate law and taxation.

After relocating to Seattle in 2005, Junior brought his legal training, marketing background, and strong eye for detail into the real estate industry. That combination has shaped his approach ever since, giving him the ability to evaluate opportunities quickly, negotiate effectively, solve problems creatively, and guide clients through complex decisions with confidence. His listings and market expertise have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Seattle PI, ABC KOMO News, Curbed, and the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Junior is also deeply engaged in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors for Mercy Housing Northwest, whose mission aligns closely with his longstanding commitment to housing and community impact. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle High School, where he is especially inspired by the school’s mission of academic rigor, professional formation, and opportunity for students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. That work is particularly meaningful to Junior because it reflects values that have shaped his own life: strong mentorship, meaningful support, and access to transformative opportunities.

Junior lives in Montlake and proudly considers Seattle his adopted hometown. He also owns investment properties in Seattle and maintains a residence in Manhattan. Fluent in Spanish, he enjoys Seattle’s restaurant scene and stays active through running, boxing, and skiing.
